Accommodation

The main hotel we saty in is a friendly 3 star in Mount Lavinia, just south of Colombo.
Mount Lavinia is on the beach, with internet facilities, banks and a supermarket nearby. Accommodation is in double rooms (single rooms available at a supplement), with air conditioning, en-suite facilities and television in each room. The hotel does a breakfast buffet, and evening meals will be taken at one of the many local restaurants many of which western meals as well as curry.
A neighbouring hotel has a swimming pool which welcomes non-resident users for a small cost: a dip at the end of a tiring day can provide the perfect pick-me-up.

The last few days are spent relaxing in a comfortable beach hotel on the south coast. Dip in the pool, swim in the Indian Ocean, stroll into the neighbouring village, relax.
